H2-Batch Annealing (HPH®)
For more than 60 years, LOI Italimpianti has been a technical and economic market leader in bell-type annealing technology. Throughout the world, more than 7,500 LOI Italimpianti annealing bases have been installed. Almost 2,500 bases uses HPH® annealing technology, with a process atmosphere of pure hydrogen.
Pure hydrogen guarantees a very clean strip surface. High temperature uniformities inside the total stack at the end of soaking results in smallest tolerances of mechanical properties of the strip. According to the material quality requirements, the temperature uniformity inside the total stack at the end of soaking will be not more than +/- 5K.
