Tenova LOI Italimpianti has successfully completed the start-up of a 200 metric tons/hour walking beam reheating furnace for billets in the new rolling mill at the Kaohsiung China Steel Corporation (Taiwan).
The new fuel-efficient furnace is equipped with Tenova’s state-of-the-art Flexytech® low NOx burners as well as with an advanced thermal model-based Level 2 control system.
The first billet has been processed fully in accordance with the scheduled program and will represent a valid reference for Tenova LOI Italimpianti in Taiwan where other proposals are under discussion.
