2006: The LOI Italimpianti Group

The entrance of LOI in Tenova and its merging with Italimpianti has created the most important world player in the sector of industrial furnaces.

LOI established in 1970, is a German group headquartered in Essen. Over the years it has promoted an M&A strategy, while establishing at the same time companies in key countries, that have brought the group to become one of the major industrial furnaces company in the market. LOI has between a benchmark in the industrial furnace sector, thanks to its deep knowledge of the heat treatment furnace technology, it has brought innovation and development in many products.

Italimpianti, an Italian engineering company founded in Genoa in 1957, was a leading integrated supplier of technology and turnkey industrial plants, specialized in reheating furnaces and relevant thermal equipment.

It became a reference company in the market thanks to its continuous R&D activity and technological innovation.

Hypertherm, based in Mumbai, is specialized in the design and supply of industrial furnaces. The company focuses its operations mainly on the SAARC market providing a deep furnace industry experience supported by numerous installation in the Country and abroud.

2008: Acquisition of Core, Pittsburgh, USA

Core, based in the U.S.A. is a leading provider of industrial furnaces and related equipment. The company has established itself as a source for advanced technology and reliable deliveries. Offering fully integrated operational capabilities, Core is one of the main suppliers for industrial furnaces in the NAFTA market.
